Dutton Ranch farms a total of 1,100 acres of premium quality wine grapes using the Sustainable Winegrowing Program. Of the 1,100 acres, we own and lease approximately 860 acres and manage approximately 240. Our total acreage is made up of 74 different vineyard sites ranging from 0.8 vine acres to 92 vine acres in size. 72 of the vineyard sites (~1050 acres) are within the Russian River Valley AVA with 57 of those (~845 acres) being within the Green Valley of Russian River Valley AVA. All of our vineyards are in the Sonoma Coast AVA.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the predominant varieties growing in the Dutton Ranch vineyards. We have 17 different clones of Chardonnay and 14 different clones of Pinot Noir planted. Additionally, Dutton Ranch produces Sauvignon Blanc (2 clones), Syrah (5 clones), Zinfandel (a heritage clone), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris (2 clones), and a small block each of Gewurztraminer and Viognier.
